Housing Lottery Launches for 145 West 108th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 145 West 108th Street, an 11-story community facility building on the Upper West Side, Manhattan. The 191,963-square-foot development was designed by Dattner Architects and developed by the West Side Federation for Senior and Supportive Housing, and yields 198 affordable housing units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 79 units for residents at 30 to 60 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $18,480 to $88,800.

Residential amenities include bike storage lockers, children’s playroom, a shared laundry room, a media room, recreation room, outdoor terrace, common area Wi-Fi, gym, shared laundry room, recreation room, and outdoor areas. Units will have air conditioning and high-speed internet. Residents will also have access to community events and classes.

At 30 percent of the AMI, there are ten one-bedrooms with a $456 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $18,480 to $32,220.

At 60 percent of the AMI, there are 43 one-bedrooms with a $1,043 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $38,606 to $64,440; 18 two-bedrooms with a $1,317 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $48,892 to $77,340; and eight three-bedrooms with a $1,510 monthly rent for incomes ranging from $56,435 to $88,800.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than June 18, 2021.
