Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 948 New York Avenue in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Church Avenue and Snyder Avenue, the interior lot is three blocks east of the Church Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Shia Unsdorfer under the 948 New York LLC is listed as the owner’s representative behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 12,491 square feet, with 11,648 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 16 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 728 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a penthouse and a 41-foot-long rear yard.
Oleg Ruditser of Engineering Professional SVCS is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
