Hi, I’m Christopher Folson., a 57 year old male who is currently living in a SRO-( Single Room Occupancy ) supported by HRA-HASA in the Bronx county of New York City. I’ve been in the SRO since 2017 trying every attempt possible to get into my own new apartment but had no success in my accomplishments, due to the extreme overflow of both shelters and SRO’s within the City and State of New York.

However, I have a voucher approved and supported by The Department of Human Resources in the amount of $1,599 for a One-Bedroom apartment, with my cross pay of $322.00 from my SSD payment in which I receive every 3rd of the month.

I have a good credit score within the category of 650-719

I’m extremely interested in one of your One-Bedroom apartment for the amount of $1,430 a month for rent.

Please add me to your lottery list as a candidate seeking to move into and rent one of your One-Bedroom apartment.

I thank you and hope in prayer that all remains well and safe throughout this ongoing crisis of this Pandemic.

    Sincerely: Christopher Folson

  52. I think if you Google HPD NYC Housing Connect, you should see these housing lotteries and other housing lotteries with lower incomes in a list.

  53. It kills me knowing from New York to Los Angeles the “system” considers $1,350 reasonable rent for an annual income of $48,000 GROSS income and a ****ing studio at that! I guess no one is supposed to ever need a doctor or medication or food. Just pay rent, utilities and die.

  54. Would like to receive info on a two bedroom.
    Thank you
