National Development has revealed the first architectural renderings of Waterstone of Westchester, a forthcoming senior living community in White Plains, New York. Located at 150 Bloomingdale Road, the new development will comprise 132 residences reserved exclusively for adults 62 years of age and above.

The new senior community is the latest property to debut under the EPOCH Senior Living network, a property management company with a portfolio of 15 age-restricted communities in the northeast region of the United States. Waterstone of Westchester is the company’s first independent senior living community in New York State.

“With the growth of the senior population and so many Westchester residents looking to remain in their home communities, we are pleased to be opening one of the premier independent living facilities in Westchester County, Waterstone of Westchester,” said Joanna Cormac Burt, COO of Epoch Senior Living. “This extraordinary community goes way beyond expectations by offering a luxurious setting with supportive services and a multitude of social opportunities.”

The rendering depicts two low-rise structures with a contemporary design. Their façades incorporate a mix of cladding materials, with what appears to be wood paneling and white columns. There are also a number of private balconies throughout.

Residents will also have access to amenities including a movie theatre, fitness center, indoor pool, lobby bar, art studio, and a salon. Additional lifestyle services include chauffeured or self-serve parking, an on-site restaurant, and a dedicated concierge.

As a senior living community, Waterstone of Westchester will provide residents with at-home health and wellness services in collaboration with VNS Westchester.

“Waterstone of Westchester promises to be a first-class addition to White Plains,” said White Plains Mayor Tom Roach. “One of the keys to a vibrant community is its ability to attract people of all ages and at different stages of their lives. I am pleased to welcome Waterstone of Westchester to our city.”

Residents are expected to begin occupancy in 2022. The Welcome Center is now open and located at 15 Maple Avenue, White Plains.

  12. I think this a design for kids to ship their parents off. With secured medical and peers in the community. Likely the units will be market rate.

Nice option for those seeking to sell off their westchester or 5 boro shacks. And plow the profits into a downsized living space.

  13. Please send me more information and application
