The building will have 46 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 634 square feet. The steel-based structure will have a cellar but no accessory parking.

  1. More Badaly crap. Who hires these hacks?

  2. Actually the Metro-North station is closer than the subway. the D station is a 10min walk westbound up a steep hill. Metro-North is a 8min walk northbound to Fordham Road and is a quicker option into Manhattan

  3. That’s a very visible corner. Hope the design is OK.

  4. Why is it that every empty area in the Bronx is being occupied by buildings. It seems like everyone is coming here and it’s overpopulated at this point.

  5. if you think you can walk to Fordham Metro north station in 8 minutes from here, I have a bridge to sell you.Great price, great condition, great terms.

I used to live down the block at 2169 Arthur. It was a 20 minute walk to the Fordham Metro north at best. By the way, I like some of the things these Albanian developers and business people have been doing in the neighborhood but now they are crossing the line into overdevelopment. That lot was meant for a single family home in harmony with the rest of the Quarry Acres homes on that block.
