Exterior work is finishing up on No.33 Park Row, aka Pearl on the Park, a 331-foot-tall residential building in the Civic Center section of the Financial District. Designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners and developed by Centurion Real Estate Partners and Urban Muse, the 25-story structure is one of several new projects transforming this historic street that gave rise to New York’s first skyscrapers. No. 33 Park Row sits directly across from City Hall Park and is expected to yield 95,000 square feet and 30 units.

Scaffolding that sat atop the roof parapet against the northern wall of 25 Park Row has since been taken down. All of the glass railings on the lower section of the edifice and the metal railings along the edges of the roof are installed. The interiors are likely catching up and not too far behind on progress.

One interesting subtle detail is the rectangular dividers that stand between the decorative steel-framed exterior and the glass curtain wall. Each of these dark metal panels features a mesh-like pattern that allows daylight to pass through but still offers adequate privacy between units. These can be seen in the photographs below.

Few details about the residential units and amenities have been revealed, but many of the units will offer views over the tree canopy of City Hall Park and the surrounding collection of architectural landmarks and iconic skyscrapers such as the Woolworth Building, the World Trade Center, the beautiful red and black colors and ornamental façade of 38 Park Row across the street to the north, and the renovated Beekman Hotel to the east of the property.

YIMBY estimates No. 33 Park Row to be completed sometime in early 2021.
