Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 4435 White Plains Road in Wakefield, The Bronx. Located between East 239th Street and Nereid Avenue, the interior lot is steps away from the Nereid Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Stagg Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 92,345 square feet, with 54,998 square feet designated for residential space and 17,020 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 82 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 670 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a basketball court on the first floor, a cellar, an 82-foot-long rear yard, and 42 enclosed parking spaces.

Minkuk Kim of Marin Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Respectfully yours, I do it as a reader for the best on the development: Hello New York YIMBY.

  2. Stagg seems to have finally turned the corner from using the generic bargain basement Badaly architecture to something more deserving of a borough on the rise.

    • I totally agree with you. I have a Badally architecture building next to me. They all look the same!!!!!
