Renderings from architect Charles Diehl offer a first look at 78 Eagle Street, a newly announced condominium development in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The four-story structure will comprise 5,000 square feet of residential area including three large units and a roof terrace.

Residences will average approximately 1,670 square feet apiece and will be outfitted in lightly-hued natural materials, white marble, and fireplaces in the most premium units.

The oversized windows at each level of the building are the project’s most impressive design elements. Coupled with an understated white brick façade, the large windows create a feeling of elegance from both outside and within the structure. Some of the renderings also appear to reveal private outdoor space and a rear yard behind the property.

The development replaces a two-story private residence constructed in the early 1900s. Investmates reportedly acquired the property in July 2019 for approximately $1.7 million. Today, the project is on track to debut by summer 2021.
