Developer Promont NYC has gained approvals to construct a new eight-story apartment building near Prospect Park in Flatbush, Brooklyn. The structure will rise from an interior lot at 150 Lenox Road and will eventually contain 42 apartments and a small ground-floor community facility. At 688 square feet apiece, the homes will most likely be rentals.

While the look and feel of residential interiors has not yet been revealed, new renderings from BDF Design offer a first look at the rising property. The illustration depicts two distinct wings that are separated by a large central void at the rear of the structure. It is not clear whether the ground level will be utilized as a central courtyard. The building’s façade is the same throughout and appears to incorporate alternating brick and cementitious materials. A series of cantilevered cubic elements support outdoor space at each level, culminating in a roof terrace open to future residents.

It is not clear what amenities the building will support beyond a small, ground-floor parking structure for seven vehicles. In total the building will comprise 29,722 square feet.

The 70s have returned, albeit an updated version.

  2. Con Edison charges a $ 19 fee to inspect a meter if you are not around when they come, yet they tell you to contact the goverment in case of emergency if you live in Westchester. What secret deal Weschester County made with Con Edison, Con Edison should hire more customer service reps or reduce the fee. Why not Rockland, or Orange counties. By the way Orange County needs to change its name, there are three Orange counties in the tribal state area alone.
