Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 289 22nd Street in Greenwood Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, the lot is five blocks from the 25th Street subway station, serviced by the R train. Jeff Akerman under the 289 22nd Street LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 7,991 square feet, with 6,253 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 781 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a penthouse, cellar, and 33-foot-long rear yard.

Rise Architecture is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Hello Twin Towers: Place at which I stop regularly on your. Report. (Thank you)

  2. That picture is not 289. You should correct that. 289 is up the block on the other side of the street
