Construction crews are putting the final exterior touches on 10 East 30th Street, a new 20-story hotel located in NoMad between Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue. The reinforced concrete structure was shrouded in a thick layer of netting during its construction, but this has recently been removed revealing a sleek glass curtain wall. The upper floors have a mix of sloped glass and setbacks that may make room for outdoor terrace space. Baobab Architects is the designer of the project.

New photos looking up at the northern elevation show the final appearance of the exterior.

A number of tall structures surround the property including Sky House, which is directly next door, as well as new developments such as Madison House, 277 Fifth Avenue, 30 East 31st Street, and Rose Hill. This slew of residential skyscrapers has substantially altered the Manhattan skyline between the Empire State Building and the Flatiron District. Madison Square Park is a short walk from the hotel, as are subways including the 6 train at the 33rd Street station on Park Avenue and the R and W trains on Broadway and West 28th Street. The Empire State Building is less than five minutes away to the north.

A completion date for 10 East 30th Street has not been disclosed, but it should be finished soon.
