Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 349 West 141st Street in Hamilton Heights, Manhattan. Located between Edgecombe Avenue and St. Nicholas Avenue, the lot is one block south of the 145th Street subway station, serviced by the A, B, C, and D trains. Jason Benta of OWJE Realty is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 76-foot-tall development will yield 16,370 square feet, with 14,022 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 20 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 701 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Mark Warren of Leaf Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

You guys spelled Harlem wrong. Or was it because Harlem doesn’t sound luxurious enough. Be that as it may no real New Yorker has ever said meet me in Hamilton Heights I wonder if it has to do with the fact that it does not existing. Stop trying to erase NYC’s beautiful history and culture that the working class has built.
This building, while adjacent to Hamilton Heights, is not actually in Hamilton Heights. The area it is located in is known as Edgecombe, coterminous with the avenue. Hamilton Heights begins West of St. Nicholas Ave., one block west of this property.
