Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 2070 Honeywell Avenue in West Farms, The Bronx. Located between East 179th Street and East 180th Street, the lot is five blocks from the West Farms Square-East Tremont Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. David Pllumbi is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 36,775 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 54 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 681 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, a 44-foot-long rear yard, and six enclosed parking spaces.

Badaly Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  2. Badaly is a hack and a disgrace. I’d almost prefer no new development than new development designed by that imagination-free firm.

  3. NFA I have to agree with you. I have a Badaly project 8feet away from my home. I can always spot a Badaly build. And there are many of them in the Bronx. They all look the same! I think I have seen one other design. I think it’s called franchise building. I invented that name.
