New York City-based real estate investment group Hope Street Capital has officially launched sales for 98 Front Street, a new ten-story condominium development in DUMBO, Brooklyn. With pricing starting at $670,000, residences range from studios to four-bedroom homes with over 100 distinct layouts.

Designed by ODA, the exterior of the building reflects the design team’s penchant for cubic, zig-zagged massing and incorporates a number of playfully recessed outdoor terraces and shaded overhangs. As explained by Eran Chen, a founding principal at ODA, the goal of the design was to create an experience for future occupants in which the outdoor terraces feel more like a seamless extension of the living spaces within.

“When outdoor space functions as a room and an intermediary between parts of an apartment, like a courtyard, it is perceived as a true extension of the living space,” said Eran Chen, founding principal of ODA. “At 98 Front, we have been able to apply this concept that ultimately expands the threshold of a building—one that functions as a living envelope for its residents.”

Future occupants will also have access to an indoor salt water pool, a steam room and spa, a fully-stocked indoor fitness center, and a secondary fitness room located on the roof-level of the building.

In addition to its robust wellness component, the condominium’s amenity program also includes a communal lounge, coworking space, and a 7,000-square-foot communal rooftop terrace with BBQ stations, three separate outdoor kitchens, a bocce ball court, outdoor screening area, as well as views of the New York City skyline.

The property is on track to debut in the spring of 2020.

  1. Popcorn and friends go to living room, if you feel bored; pick Facebook to your wanted and enjoy its community. If you don’t like these designs as beautiful and calming views, I will tell marksman. (Hello YIMBY)

If the fruit and vegetable are covered with water, go out of glass and stone. Dove Is Easy To Find A Neighbor To Build A Large Building Good Michael Young. I think it gives you a look at the high and near highs 9 with stone.

hey David! I think i got your language!
      (Hello David!!)

  2. What a terrible project. Ground floors with blank walls should be illegal.

  3. Ran past this thing this morning and it looks very good. Modern, glassy, subtle, not too tall, but well designed. A perfect building for the neighborhood

  4. They are tiny, terribly ill-conceived layouts and the developer does not have a reputation for quality. I’d rather wait for Front & York.

  5. Visited the property last weekend. Impressed with the modern designs and bright views. It’s a stunning new development in a great location in Dumbo, and I love that is close by Cecconi’s, Sugarcane, Dumbo House.

  6. Gorgeous building, and the model apartment is looking great. The pricing is pretty unreal, too — a must-visit.

  7. Absolutely cannot believe these prices, considering the neighborhood. What a bargain!

  8. It’s DUMBO but right by the BQE and the floorplans are mostly ill-conceived like Ben said above. Sub-900 sq ft 2 bedrooms and the Studio (#6S) with that window size..from the initial release, the penthouses are the only layouts that pass the eye test. I guess people who really want to own in DUMBO will take any chance.
