Valor Hospitality Reveals New Images of Hotel Indigo in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

The Indigo Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is set to debut in July 2019 and YIMBY is excited to reveal the first new renderings of property. From global hotelier Valor Hospitality Partners, the new hotel will include 187 guest rooms, 20,000 square feet of flexible event space, dual-level dining area, and open-air lounge areas.

Located at 500 Metropolitan Avenue, the new Indigo Hotel is positioned to further invigorate the flourishing north Brooklyn neighborhood with a mix of programming geared to both local residents and corporate travelers.

“We’re looking forward to becoming a part of the incredible Williamsburg community and bringing a fresh hotel and dining experience to our guests,” said Tracey Rucks, general manager of the Hotel Indigo in Williamsburg. “In addition to well-appointed rooms and upscale design, we’re thrilled to have an incredible event space to host corporate groups, along with weddings, banquets, and other social gatherings.”

Hotel amenities include a large pool and sundeck, an additional outdoor courtyard, a fitness center, and on-site parking.

  1. This building is strange but fine, but its real crime is the literally walled off courtyard directly across the street from the Macri Triangle. If you are building a park make it public, if you are building private courtyards put them on top of a retail podium. This wall destroys the streetscape, creates a hole in the city fabric, and is a magnet for vandalism. Just take it down and let everyone enjoy the park you have created.

  2. That angled/tilted section just ruins the entire design. I will have to go and see it for myself. If it did not have that incongruous thing jutting out, it would be really attractive.
