Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 1694 St. Marks Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Eastern Parkway and East New York Avenue, the interior lot is six blocks south of the Rockaway Avenue subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. It is also four blocks from the LIRR East New York train station. Darren Singer under the 1694 Marks LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 55-foot tall development will yield 7,416 square feet, with 4,973 square feet designated for residential space and 1,237 square feet for community facilities. It will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 621 square feet.

Bahram Tehrani of BTE Design Services is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  2. there is now a demolition permit. Is it gonna be a regular residency building or another shelter or project
