Renderings Reveal New Affordable Housing Planned for 379-383 Howard Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn

Rendering of 379-383 Howard Avenue

In an exclusive reveal, YIMBY has received renderings of an impending four-story affordable housing development planned for 379-383 Howard Avenue, in Brownsville, Brooklyn. If approved, the development would repurpose a currently vacant, two-lot assemblage on the corner of Howard Avenue and Bergen Street.

Together, the two lots measure about 8,200 square feet. The property’s eastern edge offers approximately 82 feet of frontage along Howard Avenue and 100 feet along Bergen Street.

Designed by DeLaCour, Ferrara & Church Architects, the building will contain 23 apartments. As of today, residential amenities have not been confirmed. Renderings do, however, reveal that a number of residences will include Juliet balconies.

Permits to construct the residence could reveal additional information, but are not yet available from the NYC Department of Buildings.
