Permits have been filed for a 70-foot tall mixed-use building at 8902 5th Avenue in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Located on the corner of 5th Avenue and 89th Street, the former car showroom and sales lot is three city blocks south of the 86th Street subway station, serviced by the R train. Under 8904 5th Ave LLC, Michael Marino is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed six-story development with cellar will have a mix of retail and community facilities to be used for education. It will yield 37,900 square feet, with 14,195 square feet designated for commercial space and 23,705 square feet for community facilities.

Henry Radusky of Bricolage Designs PC is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in late October 2018. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
