Full demolition permits have been filed for the two-story building at 1009 2nd Avenue, in Sutton Place, Manhattan. The site currently houses a 6,208 square foot office building built in 1964, with four units, and is located between East 53rd and East 54th Streets.

It is unclear what plans are in store for the 3,508 square foot lot, as no new building permits have been filed yet. Christoper Sanders of South Bay Engineering is listed as the applicant of record.

Located between East 53rd Street and East 54th Street in the Sutton Place neighborhood, the Lexington Avenue-53 Street subway station is one one block west and serviced by the E and M trains. The site is also five blocks south of the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge.
