Two weeks ago, YIMBY reported on the filing of permits for 761 East 233rd Street. Designed by Badaly Architect PLLC, the seven-story residential building will be located in The Bronx’s Wakefield neighborhood. A look at the newly released rendering of the project reveals a red brick and white cement block facade. The ground floor of this corner lot development appears to house the 52-car parking garage.

Other amenities for the ground floor include a recreation area, and a storage room and laundry room.

According to Badaly Architect, the project is expected to be completed by the winter of 2020. Jay Martino of the Stagg Group is listed as the owner behind the applications for the 102-units, 72,963 square foot development.

  1. Please pardon me for using your space: Do not negligent on design that the building doesn’t development. Pale and not pale colors.

  2. Looks like some type of institution with ,ugly parking and bad windows. Anything seems to go in the Bronx’. Disappointing.

  3. Badaly has got to be one of the hackiest schlock firm operating in this city. Generic, thoughtless and repetitive… a miserable combination.

  4. My god this is awful, Badaly’s trying to do “architecture”. It all ends when they are trying to put two (colored) bricks together. There it ends.
    Mies(erable) Van Der Rohe.

  5. I love the structure I’ve seen it in person it’s beautiful you’d have to sometimes you have to see something in person not in picture in order to understand the structure the mindset of the architect job well done
