Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use development at 931 41st Street, in Borough Park, Brooklyn. Located between New Utrecht Avenue and 9th Avenue, the interior site is situated close to the 9th Avenue subway station, serviced by the D line. Chark Yung’s Brooklyn-based UPC Engineering is the applicant of record.

The proposed six-story mixed-use building will have community facilities on the basement and first floors. Floors two through five will house 18 residential units. The development’s total scope will yield 27,600 square feet, with community facilities taking up 5,967 square feet and residential taking another 13,220 square feet of space.

Residential units will average 734 square feet apiece, indicative of rentals. The 55-foot tall concrete structure will have a 33-foot long rear yard, and 11 off-street parking spaces.

No demolition permits have been filed as of yet. The estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Please pardon me for using your space: Keeping on good manners with new development, a six-story mixed-use. No animals or plants only the building. (Hello YIMBY)
