Construction has kicked-off on Pendry Hotels’ premier New York City location, at 4 Manhattan West. The 21-story hotel is officially named Pendry Manhattan West, and will offer 164 guest rooms and a selection of condominiums positioned on the tower’s upper levels.

The selection of Pendry Hotels by Brookfield Properties represents the first joint development venture between the two companies, which is expected to debut in 2021.

Designed by architects Skidmore Owings & Merrill, current renderings illustrate a glass facade with an undulating, wave-like silhouette on both north and south-facing boundaries.

In addition to the new Pendry hotel, Manhattan West’s eight-acre campus will include supertall office buildings One and Two Manhattan West, a 62-story rental tower known as The Eugene, and two high-end office buildings. The campus will also include 240,000 square feet of restaurants, shops, and entertainment destinations, in addition to a 2-acre central plaza. The Eugene and Five Manhattan West are already complete, and One Manhattan West is also nearing the finish line.

  1. Please pardon me for using your space: This thing has been showed me into believing on development. Thank you.

  2. 4 Manhattan West is never part of Hudson Yards, come on fix it. It’s Brookfield’s 6,5 mln sq feet Manhattan West, a separate complex, it’s a block over from Hudson Yards, what is lying from 10th Avenue to West Side Highway, between 31st and 34st. streets. Manhattan West lying between Ninth and Tenth Avenue and between 31st and 33rd Street. And neither 5 or 4 Manhattan West belongs to Hudson Yards.

  3. Wow! A new NYC hotel that isn’t a total monstrosity. It must be a mistake.
