Renderings Reveal Elegant Perforated Facade for 421 Maple Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn

Rendering of 421 Maple Street

Fresh renderings from IMC Architecture reveal an elegant, new residential building at 421 Maple Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. The development will rise in place of an existing two-story, single family home.

The ground-up residential building will comprise 11,487 square feet and top-off at four stories or 55-feet-tall. Total residential area will measure about 8,800 square feet. As previously reported, duplex units will occupy second and third floors, with the fourth level expanding into the penthouse. Future occupants will also have access to a ground-floor fitness room.

In a statement from IMC Architecture, the architects told YIMBY 421 Maple was designed with a perforated facade to maximize light into the apartments without compromising residents privacy. This strategy made it possible to create secluded outdoor spaces at a portion of each units balcony.

While a completion date has not been revealed, demolition permits were recently submitted to the DOB for approvals. Both initial permits and demolition filing list Dan Mizrachi as property owner.
