A new four-story residential building is coming to 718 Bushwick Avenue, in the Brooklyn neighborhood of East Williamsburg. Permits were filed last week for the ground-up, 46-foot-tall structure, which will contain eight units and be constructed with a masonry system on the 1,874 square foot lot. The building itself will measure just under 5,600 square feet, and is being designed by Robert Bianchini of Arc Architecture + Design Studio.  The developer of the project is James Best of 718 Bushwick Ave, LLC.

The site is located a short walking distance to the Myrtle Av and Central Ave subway stop on the J and M train. It sits on the southwestern corner of Bushwick Avenue, between Hart Street to the north and Lawton Street to the south. There is currently a three-story house sitting on the corner site that has yet to be demolished to make way for the new project.

No official construction and completion date has been announced yet.

  1. Please note I am interested in a developer assisting in a 3 property project..if you are interested please email me at [email protected]

  2. ALL OF OUR BOROUGH ARE TURNING UGLY WITH BOX BUILDINGS THAT HAVE LITTLE TO NO INNOVATION. THIS LITTLE BUILDING THAT IS BEING DEMOLISHED IS SO ADORABLE. SO MUCH CHARACTER.

  3. Please pardon me for using your space: Limelight on details so I have to thanks to Michael Young. Ligate me every time.

  4. Wish this was a restoration not a demolition.

  5. This building is very unique it would be better to renovate or put the development next to it instead of demolishing it.
