Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 175 East 55th Street, in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. The site is fifteen blocks away from the Saratoga Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains. Alfred Basal of Plaza Homes is listed as responsible for the development.

The 36-foot tall structure will yield 6,330 square feet, with 5,000 square feet dedicated to residential use. Six apartments will be created, averaging 833 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Six parking spaces will help compensate for the distant public transit.

Afshari PC is listed as responsible for the design.

Demolition permits have not yet been filed. The estimated completion date has not been announced.

  2. This is a 3 train stop, and the 4 when it is replacing the 3. The 2 and 5 don’t go this way at all…
