Five-Story Residential Building Filed at 922 Dekalb Avenue, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn

Local developer Joel Schwartz has filed applications for a five-story, 10-unit residential building at 922 Dekalb Ave. Located in the north-central portion of Bed-Stuy, The structure sits on a 2,500 square foot interior lot and will replace a single-story, 2,400-square-foot church, according to demolition filings submitted in February 2018.

The new building will measure 9,810 square feet and contain 7,480 square feet of residential area. Apartments are most likely, with individual units averaging 748 square feet each.

While no enclosed parking area will accompany the new development, future occupants will enjoy close proximity to the J subway train at Kosciuszko Street and Myrtle Avenue stations.
