Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 106-25 50th Avenue in Corona, Queens. The site is ten blocks away from the 111th Street subway station, serviced by the 7 trains. The site is also just an avenue away from Flushing Meadows Corona Park, and close to the Queens Zoo, New York Hall of Science, and the Queens Museum. JX Property LLC is behind the applications.

The 40-foot tall structure will yield 4,980 square feet dedicated to residential use. Four apartments will be created, averaging 1,245 per unit, suggesting condominiums. Tenants will have access to storage in the cellar.

Ameriland Brook will be responsible for the design.

Demolition permits were filed for the structure in late April of 2017. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
