Sales are now underway at 22-18 Jackson Avenue, in Long Island City, Queens. The project has been dubbed ‘Galerie’ and is under development by Adam America and Vanke US. The structure is slated to rise 11 stories, and will offer 182 new condominiums.

The ODA-designed building is situated on Jackson Avenue directly across from MoMA PS1, and plans to add to the arts aspect of the neighborhood. Galerie is set to be a mixed-use space, and in addition to its residential parts, it will feature a curated arts program through a feature named ArtBox.

ArtBox will be a permanent, street level rotating art exhibit at the sales gallery and the building upon its completion.

“Art and artful living have been paramount to us in every aspect of design and development for GALERIE,” said Omri Sachs, founder of Adam America Real Estate.

The building’s facade is set to be a mix of concrete, brick, and glass, and will also feature three different styles of architectural glazing. There will be punched, curtain wall, and window wall, creating a very diverse exterior. On offer will be condominiums ranging from studios up to three-bedroom units. Pricing will start at $595,000, and go up to $2.5 million.

Galerie will also have a plethora of amenities. There will be a 24/7 attended lobby with its own private off-street porte-cochere entrance, which is also part of the art gallery. There will also be a 39′ x 13′ indoor pool, opening onto a landscaped central courtyard, a fitness center, library, stroller storage, pet spa, and an expansive rooftop terrace. Covered parking spots and private rooftop cabanas will also be available for purchase.

Completion of the project is expected at some point in mid-2019.

The location is set in between the 21 Street-Van Alst and Court Square subway stations, affording residents very convenient access to the 7 and G trains.
