Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 87-83 168th Street, in Jamaica, Queens. The site is seven blocks away from the Parson Boulevard Subway Station, serviced by the E and F trains. Six blocks further is the Jamaica Center Subway Station, the final stop for the E, J and Z trains. Ziyana Properties will be responsible for the development.

The 59-foot tall structure will yield 18,450 square feet of space, with 11,490 square feet for residential use. Ten units will be created, averaging 1,149 square feet apiece, indicating condominiums.

A residential lobby and garage with capacity for seven vehicles will be made on the first floor. An unspecified community facility will be operating on the cellar floor. Two units occupy the floors above, and a recreational area on the roof will crown the building.

Ang & Ang Architects Studio will be responsible for the design.

Demolition permits have been filed in July 2017. The estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Please pardon me for using your space: You’re obviously good at 87-83 168th Street, with a six-story mixed-use building.
