Permits have been filed for a six-story community facility at 132-49 41st Avenue, in Flushing, Queens. The site is four blocks away from the Main Street Subway Station, the last stop for the 7 Train in Queens. The surrounding area is a relatively dense commercial district compared to the rest of the borough, with the Queens’ Botanical Gardens located seven blocks south. Five blocks further is Flushing Meadows Corona Park. BDW Realty will be responsible for the development.

The 58-foot tall structure will yield 13,050 square feet of space, for medical facility use. The center will make use of all six floors and the cellar.

Tan Architect will be responsible for the design. They have been notably prolific within the Flushing area, with the potential to make a significant contribution to the district’s identity should all their applications be complete.

Demolition permits have not been filed, and the estimated time of completion is for next year.

Please pardon me for using your space: Ponder to the project on a six-story. (Yes), it is development. (Hello YIMBY)
