As the Long Island City boom continues into the end of the decade, several projects that were permitted back in 2014 are approaching their opening day. Among those is the 43-story 29-22 Northern Boulevard, located across the street from Dutch Kills Green Park and Queens Boulevard. Today, we have a fresh rendering for what it will imminently look like, as well as word that it has received an official name of ‘ALTA LIC’. The building’s address has also been modified, from the original 29-26 Northern Boulevard.

The project is being developed by Simon Baron Development and Quadrum Global. Once complete, the building will yield 382,000 square feet of space and create 467 apartments that range from studio to three-bedroom units.

Tenants will have access to ground floor retail, and a diverse array of amenities, including a common space terrace on the 38th floor with a sundeck, seating, outdoor dining space, and movie screen. There will also be a fitness center with pool, and an on-site dog run and pet spa.

The porcelain-clad structure was designed by the Stephen B. Jacobs Architects.

Leasing will begin in early March of 2018. Studios will start at $2,600 per month, with 3-bedroom units starting at $5,000 per month. Full completion is anticipated to happen by the end of the year.

  1. Please pardon me for using your space: I’m boon at your boom, and my bore no boom on progress.

  2. A real nice luxury building.

  3. What a view! You can almost see across Manhattan to Crescent Park in Jersey City, another mega development where Quadrum Global is helping Mikhail Brudno park Mikhail Khodorkovsky’s ill-gotten billions. Amazing what opportunities the Russians have exploited to house America’s masses above the ashes of these hex chrome and worse toxic waste sites
